On May 21st, 2011, the Society welcomed Wheaton College English Professor, Wayne Martindale. He spoke on the topic of "Eight Reasons You Should Care About C. S. Lewis". This lecture and discussion  took place at The Crossing, 1127 University Ave., Madison WI 53715. Professor Martindale is the author of Beyond the Shadowlands: C. S. Lewis on Heaven and Hell.

On October 11-13, 2012, the Society hosted The Ten Books That Most Influenced C.S. Lewis at the Pyle Center on UW/Madison Campus.
